Boy Makes 4 for Chessers

We went on Monday to find out what we are having and it is a BOY! I got some great news too! I am actually 19 weeks instead of 18. That was by far the fastest week of my pregnancy! Things are looking good and everyone is doing fine. We are awaiting Jon's surgery tomorrow on his shoulder. I will be sure to post and update on him as well as pics. Til next time.....

Community Helpers

Alyssa had to dress up as a community helper at school today. She chose to wear her doctor outfit and take her stethoscope. This morning she told me she was going to be a doctor like Aunt Court! For those of you who don't know, my brother married a doctor and her name is Courtney. They also had a fire fighter come visit their school. She came home telling Jon and I that we need to get a fire safety plan and a meeting place outside for after the fire. Guess we better get started on that! Til next time.....

Catching Up

So I have been a little behind with my blogs and just like my sewing blog, I have finally updated our family blog. I decided to just hit the highlights from this year instead of posting everything. It starts with the Pumpkin Patch Trip last weekend, our latest addition to the Chesser family, our 4th of July trip to Arkansas followed by Alyssa's 4th Birthday and ends with amazing pictures from my brother Chad's wedding in Yosemite National Park this past April. For those of you who may not have known Jon and I are expecting again. The ultrasound picture is from our first visit at 9 weeks. We will find out later this month what we are having and will be sure to share those pics too. Thank you for following our family and we hope you are all doing well. Til next time......

I'M BACK.........

Okay so it has been 5 months since I posted on my family blog. Needless to say I have been a little busy. My sewing has really taken off and this past month has been busy with end of the year stuff at Alyssa's school. Above are two pictures of her and her friends at the end of the year luau and the Spring program for school. Bare with me a few more weeks and I am going to post stuff from the past six months. Thanksgiving in Gatlinburg, Fall Program at School and Disney on Ice

November was a busy month but no where near as busy as December is starting off. We went to Disney on Ice for the first time and Alyssa had a ball. She loves the princesses and Minnie and Mickey. Alyssa had her second Fall Program at school. They quoted a verse, sang "He's Got the Whole World In His Hands" and "I'm a little Turkey." It was so cute. She did a great job and as normal hammed it up. We went to Gatlinburg this year for Thanksgiving and had a blast. We went to Ober Gatlinburg, shopped and played putt-putt. It was nice to get away for awhile. I hope you and your family are enjoying the season and we wish you a Merry Christmas! Til next time....
