October News

This has been a crazy month for the Chessers. On October 11th the kids were out of school so the playgroup went to the zoo. That was our first time to go in awhile because it has been so hot. Unfortunately Spencer, Trent and Mrs. Kerri couldn't go with us. We had a good time and Alyssa was excited about being back at the zoo. Not as excited as she was about Homecoming at Alabama. We took her to her first football game last year and she loved it. When football season rolled around her first question was "What game am I going to?" Needless to say Jon and I had to get tickets and fast. We had a lot of fun. On Monday her school had their annual Pumpkin Patch field trip. We went to Camp Coleman in Trussville and the kids got to go on a nature walk, play on the playground, see and learn about different animals, go on a hayride, roast marsh mellows and pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch.
